Zoe’s general support was really helpful in working with our boys. It was a traumatic period of time for our family. Talking with Zoe was great. She provided insight about where our boys were along the way. She’s very easy to work with.

Zoe has helped by teaching us how to talk to and work with our son.
— Kasandra, Mother, 4 year old
— Lourdes, Mother, 13 year old
Zoe worked with us on compliance strategies for our son. There’s a big difference now in how our son communicates with us, follows directions, and follows through on tasks.
— Andrea, Mother, Son 4
My son had a pretty significant speech delay. His frustration around communication was starting to manifest as behavior issues. He was three years old when we began with working with Zoe. During a therapy session with Zoe in our backyard, my son wanted a ball, but he couldn’t ask for it because he had no words. Zoe used rhythym to help him communicate - she banged out the words on the trunk of a tree as she said them, over and over again, until my son finally said, “Three balls, please.” He was able to use words to ask for what he wanted! Zoe opened the door.
— Melissa, Mother, 9 year old
Thank you for the tremendous amount of help you gave to me, my son and my entire family over the past four years. Your knowledge about autism and your belief in C. brought us through dark times. I will be forever grateful for everything.
— Karen, Mother, 6 year old
Zoe, I just wanted to let you to know that M has been declassified. He continues to do well academically and shows interest in developing friendships and exploring the world. I’m aware that statistics report that only one in four kids respond so well to early intervention but I think that other parents who might feel uncertain or scared could benefit from hearing how well things can work out. M is 9 now (wow!) and in 3rd grade. M plays violin and enjoys soccer, reading, and exploring. He is so very curious about everything, it’s so fun.
— Keith, Father, 9 year old
— Patricia, Mother, 8 year old
Your support made all the difference. After one year in school environment, he did amazing, and was released to start general education pre-k. He is reading at a extremely high level now and considered a genius!
— Shawna, Mother, 5 year old
Zoe helped both our boys walk, and our oldest boy would be nonverbal without her intervention. She taught us all about ABA and we did some trainings with her to learn how to do Pivotal Response to work with our boys. Her trainings are excellent, extremely helpful. She is totally awesome. We really appreciate and love her.
— Amy, Mother, 17 year old and 14 year old
Zoe has a lot of knowledge and skills, but she never pushed them on me or came off like a know-it-all. Instead, she listened to me. Zoe’s understanding and receptiveness made me open to hearing her ideas and approaches.
— Pamela. Mother, 9 year old
— Margarita, Mother, 5 year old
Our family owes you a great deal for all the help you have given T. You are wonderful and talented autism specialist.
— Sara, Mother, 3 year old

Zoe’s knowledge about the steps and processes of navigating IEPs was very helpful. Zoe’s understanding of IEPs and legal entitlements, her ability to communicate that knowledge, and her presence at my son’s IEP meetings made the whole process less intimidating. In addition, just discussing my concerns about my son and getting ideas from Zoe helped put things in perspective for me.
— Lara, Mother, 6 year old

Working with Zoe was an introduction to a more formal ABA-type of therapy that was clearly important for our son. When we couldn’t get enough therapy hours in the city where we lived, we realized we’d have to move to a bigger city an hour away. The move was a big decision, and working with Zoe helped push us to make it knowing it was the best thing for our son. The decision turned out to be very positive - our son now attends JumpStart and is receiving the support he needs
— Tarra, Mother, 7 year old
— Maria, Mother, 5 year Old
Everything about you was inspiring. That was the first time in many years that I have been able to combine a Spanish speaking group of parents with English speaking. Everyone was so passionate about their child’s programs and seemed to easily grasp the connection between many of the regulations and the types of meetings in which to use them. You are truly a powerful bunch and I salute you for your bright energy. No doubt children will flourish under your guidance. Yours in advocacy and incredible programs for children with autism...
— Joan Curtiss, Disability Rights New Mexico
Thanks for all the helpful information and for guiding me through this overwhelming process.
